I have been lucky enough to work at Morris Hospital
since July of 1998. I had bounced around between MANY
clinics before I came home. I cannot believe my luck that
I get to come to work everyday loving what I do, working
with the most outstanding staff ever, and the most
talented veterinarian ever! Besides veterinary Medicine, I
also have a passion for positive reinforcement training
and dog aggression problems. I currently have 1 cat
and the most spectacular St. Bernard ever to hatch,
Aislynn. I love reading, fishing, monster trucks,
and house renovation.
Michelle House, Technician:
I started working for Morris Hospital in 1998
part-time during my college summer break. I continued to
work for Dr. Morris on all my holiday and summer breaks
until 2000 when I began working full time. I started out
working as a veterinary assistant and worked my way up to
veterinary technician. I decided I wanted to work in
the veterinary field when I was in the fourth grade and I
have never changed my mind. I became an LVT when I
graduated from WCCCD in 2010. I’m fortunate to work
with a group of amazing Dr.’s, all who are willing to
teach me as much as I can learn. I currently have 2 dogs,
an English Mastiff, "Avila" & a German short-haired
Pointer, "Ruger". They are my babies and I take them
with me whenever I can. I am an avid Detroit Tigers
fan and I love to read, camp and be outdoors.

Hartley, Technician:
I have worked at Morris Hospital since May of 2001.
I currently live in Waterford, MI with my husband and: 3
dogs: Foosa, Ayla, and Piper (Rhodesian Ridgebacks), 1
cat: The Sneak (1 rescue). When asked by the clients why I
choose to drive so far to work everyday, my answer is
simply "Dr. Morris is the BEST!" I attended MSU and have a
BS in Zoology with a concentration in Zoo and Aquarium
Science. My hobbies include reading, biking, camping, and
showing dogs. I also breed Rhodesian Ridgebacks. (My
website is www.tifarirr.com) Dog training is also one of
my passions, and in the past, I have worked with Trainer's
Academy LLC. for 3 years as an assistant trainer and have
helped with various dog behavior issues.
